To be seen and heard. To do the things that matter to you and to derive great joy from them. Very little about life in medicine is easy. Coaching helps.

Since 2018, I have been a breast pathologist at MGH. Before then, I was an attending pathologist at Yale New Haven Hospital for >10 years where my role included a significant time commitment to medical education. One of the greatest joys in my life is watching my 4 children create their own reality. We spend as much time as we can together, outside, in the woods or on the water, cooking and eating what we grow and catch with friends. My interest in coaching comes from the belief that we can all make things better for those around us and that everyones strengths, needs, and goals are different. There is no one size fits all solution to a healthy, balanced, personally and professionally fulfilling life. My professional career has seen setbacks in which finding my voice is a work in progress. One of the things that energizes me is being able to help others. Many well-being initiatives are geared specifically to the patient-facing work force. As a pathologist I bring a different perspective. I look forward to helping you create your own reality. It turns out there is a science and an art to it and I look forward to helping you learn and experience it.
