Sylvia Perry, DNP

I started at MGH in 2000 as an RN in medical oncology, and have practiced extensively as an NP in primary care and breast surgical oncology. I have also served as Nursing Director and Research NP. My educational background includes BA in History, MS in Health and Social Behavior, and DNP focused on clinician well-being and burnout prevention. I am certified as a coach through Wellcoaches.

I am dedicated to personal and professional well-being and enjoy working with individuals, teams, and leaders to connect with purpose and compassion, promote healthy habits, cultivate social connections, navigate transitions, and aspire to a state of thriving. A coaching framework helps you discern where you are and where you would like to be. I believe that coaching empowers people to recognize, articulate, and achieve personal goals, career enhancement, and work-life harmony. I teach PAVING the Path to Wellness, a lifestyle medicine curriculum to patients and colleagues.  I founded the MGH Advanced Practice Provider Wellness Committee and serve on the Advisory Board of MGH Center for Professional Well-being and Workplace Well-being Collaborative.

An outdoor enthusiast, distance runner, skier, and hiker, I spend most of my free time outside. I look forward to getting to know you, exploring your strengths and values, and helping you set goals that optimize your well-being.
