Mahmooda Qureshi, MD

As a primary care physician in mid/late-career, I am interested in prevention, lifestyle as medicine, integrative medicine, mind-body medicine, coaching, and helping people flourish in ways they find meaningful. I received my medical training in London, U.K. and Cleveland, Ohio, and have worked as a PCP at the Cleveland Clinic, Brockton Hospital, Harvard Vanguard and now at Bulfinch Medical Group, MGH. I enjoy traveling, yoga, hiking, outdoor activities, art, cooking, gardening, volunteering in my community, and being with my family and friends. Quincy, MA, is my home, though I grew up in many countries (Uganda, Pakistan, Egypt, Italy). Several years ago, I was coached by a physician-coach, and was transformed from burnout to rekindling my passion for medicine, and onto thriving on my own terms. Since then, I have coached residents, APPs, and faculty physicians mostly at MGH. Being a physician-coach has been an immense asset when coaching physicians and healthcare workers, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic. Coaching lends itself to any situation, though areas of coaching that appeal to me are self-care/work-life balance; individualized career growth, be it when feeling stuck, leadership development, or when excitement and opportunity abound and requires individualized focus; exploring your life's purpose; burnout; career transition; and achieving your best life. Although I coach non-physicians and outside of MGH/MGB, coaching physicians in our system is particularly rewarding. I look forward to being your coach to explore your strengths, values, needs, and catalyze your transformation.
