MGH Buddy Program

MGH Buddy Program

Working in health care can be very rewarding and yet also stressful. To continue to support the well-being needs of MGH staff, the MGH Workplace Well-Being Collaborative – the same group that created the Employee Well-Being Apollo site and the Going Home Checklist – have created the MGH Buddy Program. The MGH Buddy Program connects employees to each other to help protect against the isolation many are feeling and enhance social connections at work.

Modeled after the many hospital and military Battle Buddy programs, this program allows participants to share experiences and stories, and build community at work. Through this program, you and your paired buddy connect by text, phone, or video to catch up and connect. Program buddies can be cross-discipline, cross-departmental, or peers in your department.

Complete the survey to get or confirm a buddy. Additional questions can be emailed to mghbuddy@mgh.partners.edu.
